Established in 2013, Model Scout Academy is far more than just another modelling school. Due to popular demand, we have grown and evolved to develop our offering, so that we now offer a more comprehensive range of courses and services to help people from all walks of life to improve their confidence and self-esteem, whilst developing new skills.

Our flagship Modelling Masterclass, which aims to equip new and up and coming models with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in the highly competitive and demanding modelling industry, is perhaps what we are best known for.

Sara BhullerTalent Manager

My name’s Sara, and I am the Talent Manager at Model Scout Academy. I have more than 23 years of experience in the modelling industry, having previously worked with Screenfaces and Model Bank at Sydney’s Fox Studios. I am also a trained actor, personal stylist, and makeup artist.

As a modelling agent, a big part of my job was to discover new talent for the agency’s books. One thing that I noticed though was that for every successful model, there were plenty who didn’t make it past the casting stage because their walk wasn’t right, they didn’t know enough poses, they had a poor attitude. Whilst each one was stunning in their own way, a lot of them hadn’t yet mastered the basics of modelling.

Many also lacked confidence, which is where my background in stage and screen comes in. I graduated from the June Dally Watkins Deportment & Modelling School as a child, and I was a member of the Australian Theatre For Young People (ATYP) whose luminaries include Nicole Kidman. I’ve also worked on many television commercials, programs, and movies. I also have industry experience and a BA in Social Science (Psychology), which allows me to help my students to develop confidence and self-esteem.

That was why I decided to get involved with Model Scout Academy – to pass on some of the knowledge I had picked up along the way, and help up and coming models to master important skills that mean the difference between a successful modelling career and failure.
