However, having the right outfit for different categories of the competition (e.g. swimwear and evening wear) is paramount. Having a standout outfit is one of the first things that most people tend to think of when they think of pageantry.

Styling for a pageant is very different to personal styling for everyday looks or other important events. In pageantry, there is a very specific look and style the judges will be looking for in terms of what you wear, so it’s important you work with a stylist who specialises in pageants.
