Registration process, pricing, duration and content
Any person with at least 16 years old is eligible to register to one of our courses visible through our official domain: https://modelscoutacademy.com.au/.
The user has the chance to consult the specific course page and specification through the information page https://modelscoutacademy.com.au/courses/. Here, any user may have more information about the content, pricing, duration, eligibility and related useful information for each provided course.
Please note that any enlisted course is not comprehensive of a specific portfolio, comp cards or related content. Finally, any participant understands and accepts that we cannot guarantee any specific position of work/job under any circumstances possible and this point cannot be a base to request any action of refund or cancellation of the purchased services.
Any portfolio shoot will be exclusive property of the user purchased of the service.
Additionally, during any course, photo/video may be taken. In this case, you, as course attendant, accept the fact they may be used for marketing and promotional purposes by us and/or by our partners and any recorded video may be used as proof and example of the activities provided by us.
Lastly, we make the maximum efforts possible to provide an updated version of the course. In this sense, we cannot guarantee that the delivered information of the course you will attend, will also be valid and applicable in a near/proximate future, since the “model world” may quickly change and vary.
Payments & Deposit
Any course has its specific cost which will be surcharged of a specific fee of 2% if the user will decide to pay using a credit/debit card. In this last case, you expressly agree to be the owner of the card or that you have the permission of use given by the card owner.
Any course is also provided by a specific agreed deposit amount to secure a spot in the specific requested course (“Deposit”) that must be paid in advance at least 7 days before the start of the course. Any user have a possibility to contact us and require a reschedule of the course that will be accepted exclusively if there will be available spots for another specific course in that precise moment. If no spot will be available, the user will be inserted in a waiting list until the spot availability will be satisfied. In any case, we cannot assure and guarantee any future availability of the courses.
Cancelations and Postponing
In the event that you have the necessity to cancel or postpone your booked course, you will have the chance to re-schedule for one of the next session based courses.
In any case, you must provide your intention to postpone the date of course fruition at least 7 days before the fruition date with a clear written notice.
Alternatively, if you applied for a portfolio service and you need to postpone the session, you must to warn us with a written notice at least 5 days before the fruition date.
In any case, any in advance payment and deposit amount will be not eligible of any type of refund, under any circumstances possible.
Conduct, Limitation of Liabilities and User Responsibilities
All users are expected to act respectfully and responsibly with all members of our team, the equipment used on the day and the premises. Any reports of misconduct will be taken seriously. If you have any concerns about the behavior of any of our staff or team please report any incidents to a member of staff or a manager.
Any user must arrive before the established starting hour of the provided service. Any delayed arrival will be exclusive responsibility of the user and this cannot be a base of refunding procedure by the user.
In any case, we will be not liable for any incident, injury, issues, direct or consequential, losses in profit, changes of any sort in the user, health issues of any type happened to the user of our services. The user bears sole responsibility in the use of our services and in following our advised provided during the courses.
Additionally, we are not responsible or legally liable for any user misconduct or lack in advise following. In any case, we will not provide any refund or reimbursement under any circumstances possible. The perfect and integral course follow-up does not guarantee any potential recommendation or right to obtain any job position.
We will not definitely legally responsible for any action or circumstance previously described.
We reserve the full right to change, modify or remove, in a portion or in an integral size and measure, any service provided and their specific content without any previous written or verbal notice.
Using and purchasing our services, you show to have carefully understood that no fee, charge or payment (including any deposit) provided by you to us under any circumstances, including any case of illness or any other impediment, will be refunded.
A deposit/full payment shall only be refunded to the applicant in the event there are tragic circumstances whereby the applicant was unable to attend the course. The Applicant shall provide sufficient details and documents in support in respect of the tragic circumstances alleged to have caused the absence, failing which there shall be no refund.
There shall be a further review upon receipt of the supporting documents as to the tragic circumstances suffered by the applicant. The Company shall have the final discretion to make a decision based solely on whether a reasonable person will find that the circumstances referred to were tragic.
In the event the tragic circumstances were caused by natural perils the deposit/full payment shall be refunded but if the circumstances were caused by human peril which would include causes of loss that lie within the individual’s control, then there shall be no refund.
